How long does a newborn session take?

1 hour. And yes, it is enough time.

Will you help pose us?

Absolutely! Just relax and spend time snuggling your little one.

Do you pose and wrap baby?

No, I focus on natural, candid, and connection-based moments. I don't do wraps, swaddling, posing, or props with your baby. In fact, I let parents handle their baby the whole time. I don't even touch baby. I will guide you.

What happens if my baby cries?

Feed your baby. Cradle your baby. And always keep a smile on your face no matter what. Having a cheerful relaxed look on your face despite a crying baby is crucial to those photos you see that I post (Note: crying babies happens often so don't worry. You aren't the first and won't be the last).

What if my baby doesn't want to be put down?

That's very normal. We photograph baby in parents' arms, including tiny details. We'll always try to get solo shots if possible.

Do you edit my photos?

Yes! This means the look you see on my photos will look "better than an iphone photo"; the lighting, colors, contrast, shadows of your photo is what I consider editing. I do not retouch anything, except baby acne (signature collection only). These are examples of retouches I do not do (but not limited to): changing the color of your outfit, making you look skinnier (embrace the postpartum belly), dying your hair another color, de-wrinkling your outfits. Please come prepared on your part. I'll help you with outfit planning.

How fast will I get my photos back?

1-2 weeks, depending on the collection you go with.

What's the best time to get photos taken?

Between 2-4 weeks is ideal but up to 2 months is ok.

What's the best time of day to get photos done?

Usually mid-morning or early afternoon. I'll have you send me photos of your home so I can see the space and light coming into your house.
