This family came into their session with a clear vision. They’d recently renovated their entryway and were ready to fill that space with something meaningful—photos that felt like them. It was their first time doing fall portraits, and they were excited to capture this season of life in a way that felt natural and real. We met at one of my favorite quiet spots in Kent, WA, where the trees were in full bloom and the light was soft and golden.
They were an absolute joy to photograph. Easygoing, open to the process, and focused on what mattered most—being together. We kept things relaxed and let the kids lead the way. They explored, played, and made each other laugh, and I just followed along with my camera. It was one of those sessions where everything just clicked.

What made it even more special was knowing these images weren’t just for a gallery or a phone wallpaper.
They were meant to live on the walls of their home, greeting them every time they walked through the door.
That kind of clarity and intention makes the entire experience feel even more meaningful.
Fall in the Pacific Northwest doesn’t last long, but when the colors and light line up just right, it’s unforgettable. If you're dreaming of a session that captures your family just as you are—playful, connected, and full of life—I'm here for it.
Whether you’re planning for wall art, heirloom album, or simply want to hit pause on this season before it flies by, I’d love to help you create something beautiful.
